HAINIWA Sousuke

[Original Web Publication](https://www.cmoa.jp/title/282024/) Caught between her brilliant elder sister and her stunning younger sister, Sakura, the second daughter of the Odle family, has lived her life quietly and unnoticed. Apart from her small talent for taming minor magical beasts, she possesses no remarkable skills and has kept to the shadows—until, overnight, she is taken away to become the bride of Prince Kai, a man revered as the “God of War.” The reason: Sakura’s very being can serve as the sheath for the fabled “Demon-Banishing Sword.” Brought into Kai’s household not for herself but merely as the “sword’s sheath,” Sakura is accepted as his official wife. Yet her insight and kindness begin to stir subtle changes in the cold, unyielding Kai. A delicate Cinderella-style romance, where love quietly deepens even as the two stumble and misunderstand each other.
