Tsukkomi-machi no Machino-san

Machino seems to always visit our main character Nitanda at the domino club he started, always joking around, always teasing. Machino-san from the swim team always stops by the Domino Club—where I’m the only member—before her practice starts. She constantly bombards me with skit-style jokes, so I can’t help but fire back with retorts. Joke, retort, wordplay—day after day. Silly conversations, a touch of romance. Those fleeting summer clubroom days somehow felt eternal. But when this summer comes to an end, both of our dominoes will begin to fall all at once— “Why are you suddenly narrating a light novel-style summary, Machino-san?”
