Although those around them often saw them as a perfect couple, they once tried dating but never developed romantic feelings for each other. Afterward, they returned to being “just best friends,” despite having been each other's first sexual partners. But one day, Kota learns that Sakura has won a novel-writing award, revealing an unexpected side of the childhood friend he thought he knew so well. As they also work together to resolve problems involving Hagoromo, a troublesome student at their school, their relationship gradually begins to change… This is an after-love romantic comedy about what happens to two childhood friends who were once a couple.
